Soft Pastel on Art Board
Rosa has enjoys re-creating works of the great masters. These were created
with soft chalk on art board 32" x 40". Artists that create
this kind of work are referred to modonnari. Click
here to read more about the madonnari. The street paintings, also
done in chalk, are approximately 7' tall. It can take two days of creation,
almost always on your knees! The finished drawing is sprayed with a fixative
(hair spray) that will help keep the chalk from blowing away. However,
foot traffic and rain will destroy it quickly.
